Use Import Issues to create multiple issues from a spreadsheet. AuditFindings accepts .xls, .xlsx, and .csv files.
Before you import
- Use one row for each issue and one field per column.
- Put field names in the first row.
- Remove merged cells, blank header rows, and decorative titles.
- Use consistent date formats.
- Add the destination audit on the Audits page before importing, if needed.
- For a large import, test a small sample first.
Import issues
- Open Issues and select Import.
- Choose the import mode.
- Select the audit that should receive the imported issues.
- Select an .xls, .xlsx, or .csv file.
- Map each file column to the matching AuditFindings field. Map any column you do not need to Do Not Import.
- Review the mapping and start the import.
- Confirm the import completed successfully, then review the new issues.
Tip: Preserve identifiers with leading zeros by formatting that spreadsheet column as text before saving the file.
