Export issue data when you need a spreadsheet for review, reporting, follow-up, or sharing with stakeholders outside AuditFindings.
Before you export
- Use Filter/Search to narrow the issue list before exporting.
- Use Configure Columns to review the fields shown in your issue view.
- Optional: select individual issue checkboxes if you only want to export selected records.
- Export only the data you need. Issue exports can include sensitive audit, finding, owner, assignee, status, and due-date information.
- Your role and access level determine which issues and fields are available.
Export issues
- Sign in to AuditFindings.
- Select Issues in the left navigation.
- Optional: select Filter/Search and apply the criteria for the issues you want to export.
- Optional: select the checkboxes for specific issues if you only want to export selected records.
- Scroll to the bottom of the issue list.
- Select Issue Actions.
- Choose Export as Excel or Export as CSV.
- When the browser downloads the file, open it in your spreadsheet application and confirm it contains the expected records.
Choose Excel or CSV
- Excel: use this when you want a spreadsheet file that opens directly in Excel.
- CSV: use this when you need a plain-text export for imports, data cleanup, or another reporting tool.
Troubleshooting
- If an export option is missing, confirm your role and issue access.
- If the export contains too many records, apply filters first and export again.
- If expected issues are missing, clear filters or confirm that you have access to the related audits.
- If your browser blocks the download, allow downloads from AuditFindings and try again.
